Do you wear two swimsuits at the swimming pool?

10:10

I go to the swimming pool 2-3 times a week. I am not a competition swimmer and I just swim for exercise.

The other day there was a group of girls training in the swimming pool and I noticed that most of them were were wearing two swimsuits, one on top of the other.

Does anybody here do it?

Why do you do it?

Its for drag. A lot of swimmers do that to slow them down so they have to work even harder to go faster. This makes them stronger for racing when they don't wear the top suit. If the swim suit on top was bigger than the one underneath, then it was for drag.

yes .obviously every one will wear a swimsuit while going to the swimming pool ,but i wear a men's swimsuit not girls & it depend on the place where the swimming pool is .If the pool is the house's bathroom then no one will wear a swimsuit and if the pool is outside

Lol, what? Why would they wear two swimsuits? That makes no sense... Odd tan lines much? Haha. But no, I don't do it. I don't understand why anyone would do it. Unless they were just trying to be odd and start a new 'trend'. Or get people to notice them. Cool name, heehee, mine is Coral (=

i wear 2 swimsuits when i play water polo. maybe there were water polo players who were taking a break from practice.it so if someone break your suit you are still wearing one, and polo suits are really tight and some times they show things.

It creates drag. Usually the suit on top is loser creates more friction and resistance so when you do end up competing and you only wear one tight suit you'll be stronger. =)

lycra swimsuits when they get old become a bit transparent so perhaps prolonging the life of a couple of old suits by wearing them together and avoiding any see-through? It is the credit crunch after all

Only if I plan on going in the pool. Otherwise no.

Yes, I do wear swim briefs under my trunks just in case.
